Slashdot Interview

SlashDotInterview turned out to be a great success, Alaa is a famous guy now, everyone loves him, this time there was almost no racism (we must have misjudged slashdotters then) and very few trolls even though we got 530+ comments. Alaa met wonderful people, made new friends, got invited to Orkut and we did not get slashdotted.

I really enjoyed your slash dot interview. I liked most of your answeres (althogh some of the questions were really silly) but I think that /. has the worst comments system ever. its very hard to consentraite on a subject raised in a comment when you have to jub links here and there. anyway u did great, keep up the good work

Hello Alaa!

Great interview at /. ! I enjoyed the answers to questions which are all too common here in the States. I get to answer them with respect to Cyprus, where I come from, which is in the same neighborhood.

Angelos.

Thanks!

Thanks Alaa for the very interesting Slashot story. Too bad so many are idiots but that's the internet as a whole.

Thanks for the /. Interview

Alaa, I really enjoyed the interview you did with slashdot. Thanks for sharing a bit about your country. Here's hoping that technology brings people of different cultures close in friendship.

One more thing...

Hey man... I just read your answers on /. a few mins ago! Cool stuff man! I LOVE how honest you were portraying reality in Egypt! The whole bit about the education system was a blast. I am sure someone will flame you for being too 'honest', but hey... someone has to!

Good job man! Loved it. Nazeeh
